About PCSC
Officially founded circa 1997, Placer County Schutzhund Club (PCSC) is a full-member club of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America (USCA). We are an active part of the Northwestern Region. Our current membership runs the gamut from seasoned national and international-level competitors to new handlers seeking to earn their first-ever BH on their first German Shepherd Dog, plus everything in between.
PCSC is a competition-oriented. We train with the goal of competing in Schutzhund/IPO on some level, whether it be club, regional, or national levels. Our quality of training reflects these goals. Each member is encouraged to develop a solid relationship with their dog(s), and is also encouraged to build their skills as a handler so as to succeed in the sport.
