SV Judge Frank Mensing: SV Judge Frank Mensing has been a schutzhund judge since 1980. He has titled 12 different dogs, mostly from his own breeding. He has competed at club, regional, national and WUSV level, winning the Canadian Nationals two times. He was Canada's first SV judge. As one of the founding members of the German Shepherd Schutzhund Clubs of Canada and having served as its President for many years he helped to guide GSSCC through years of growth into a top German Shepherd organization. He has been selected to judge the WUSV on two occasions and has judged numerous National and International Competitions. He breeds under the kennel name Norbreeze. |
During my 14 years of involvement in Schutzhund I have titled eight (8) dogs at all levels of the sport including Handler Owner Trained from Bh to SchH 3 , FH and FH 2, entering and competing in more than eighty (80) trials with various dogs at the Club, Regional and National Championships, earning more than forty (40) Schutzhund III Titles as well as numerous SchH 1 – 2, IPO 1-3,FH and FH2 titles including:
In addition I have been active at both the local and national level for the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, holding several positions including, Vice President, Regional Director, Assistant to the DOJ, Training Director for the Southwest Working Dog Association, Officer in three additional clubs, United Schutzhund Clubs of America and American Working Malinois Performance Judge, United Schutzhund Clubs of America Helper Program Director and Teaching Helper. Since obtaining my judges license in 2002 I have judged more than 600 Dog and Handler Teams in more than 60 Trials including Club, Regional and National Championships including the: I have a passion for the working dog and I am always grateful to be invited and allowed to evaluate working dogs in competition.
